Old Art: Hand Study

Now this piece of old art makes me want to sob and hide in a corner, because these hands are so much better than the hands I do now! Why, oh why must I see the recessive progress!  

NOTE: I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've made and deactivated a lot of Deviantart accounts since I first joined 7 years ago. My first was ~MySilverLamia, which I abandoned due to boredom and lack of confidence in my art. Others included ~LamiaWriter, which was my most popular for it's "Roommates" fanart, then I had ~ImmortalBond, which I was bullied off of by an ex, and my most recent deactivated account being ~EmbodimentofSin which I left due to depression, where I lost interest in art, everything, thinking there was no point and it was going nowhere. I have new hopes with this new account, and am even thinking about redoing some of my popular art from my previous accounts. I want to thank everyone for their support so far, it's gotten me excited about drawing again.
